The N10 CHOIR

About Us

The N10 Choir is an adult SSAA choir based in Muswell Hill (N10) in London. It currently consists of about twenty members of mixed ages, background and nationalities.

The choir rehearses weekly during term-time on Mondays from 7.30 to 9.30pm at St Peter-le-Poer Church. Rehearsals begin with work on improving sight-singing and musicianship skills using the Kodály method, and some basic vocal technique. The remainder of the rehearsal is spent working on repertoire.

The choir perform concerts open to the public at St Peter-le-Poer church as well as regular concerts in local homes for the elderly and disabled. Repertoire is varied and has so far included music by Britten, Rutter, Vivaldi and Jenkins, traditional Irish, African and Hebrew music, Christmas carols and Light Music.
